Top Handle Conversion Kit with D Rings and Braided Leather Top Handle Strap

Luxegarde’s D Rings are perfect for converting small leather goods that don’t have existing metal loops to clip on chains, but do have e.g. a leather tab onto which the D Rings can be attached. Suitable for Louis Vuitton Cosmetic Pouch, Nice Nano, Nice Mini etc. The gorgeous leather handle in the kit will allow you to carry your bag with a top handle.

• 1 pair (2x) Gold D Rings
• 1 Braided Leather Top Handle Strap (30cm)

• Using a small screwdriver, unscrew the bar from the D Ring
• Place the D “loop” over the leather tab, ensuring that the gaps are aligned
• Push the bar back through the D Ring and leather tap, taking care not to scratch the canvas
• Secure the bar with a screwdriver
• Repeat on other side
• Tip: Stretch the vachetta loop for 24 hours beforehand before attempting to thread through the metal bar. We use toothpicks!

• Treat these D Rings like you would a piece of costume jewellery – keep away from moisture, do not handle immediate after using hand lotion and do not rub with abrasive cloths
• This product has been coated with an invisible coating to prevent wear. However like most plated jewellery, the coating will wear off with time. Please note, the screw component of the D Ring is not plated.
